Vocational Skills Workshop
Are you looking to get back into work or learn a new skill or trade? Our Vocational Skills Workshop will give you that helping hand to get back on track. Vocational skills are “practical” or “first hand skills” that help a person master a trade of a job. This could be through a trade such as craftsmanship, cookery, carpentry or even IT Skills. Vocational skills are for everyone and an important life skill; put them into everyday use and develop your confidence at the same time!
Our Vocational Skills Workshop is unique in that it is built around you and can be as bespoke as you’d like. Whether you would like to learn cooking skills, carpentry, sewing, or craftsmanship, we will be able to build a workshop around you to meet your needs. Alternatively, it could be you may not need a particular skill for your job, but just want to learn something for yourself. This is where vocational skills help, as they will give you practical skills you can use throughout all the avenues of your life; and pass them onto family and friends!
Developing your vocational skills will also allow you to apply for a specific job because you have been taught that specific skill that you need, increasing your employability. Vocational skills also allow you to transfer them to everyday needs and allow you to be more confident in your profession or everyday life.
- Workshop Duration: 10 weeks
A bespoke programme designed for you; depending on what vocational skills you would like to do.
You will be able to take your new learnt skills into a working environment or at home.
This will depend on the vocational skill that has been chosen. We will advise you at a further date.
