For every 1000 ink cartridges we get returned through our collection scheme, we will plant a tree to help towards sustainability for the future of our planet. We work in partnership with a local recycling company to help the charity to fundraise and reduce Co2 emissions by recycling printer cartridges.
97% Toner cartridges collected for recycling can be reused or recycled if OEM. If on an average, 3000 toner cartridges are collected per month, 97% will be recycled/reused with 3 % being destroyed and broken down to their raw materials.
ReturnMK and its partners have joined up with The National Trust to plant a tree for every 1000 ink/toners collected. A certified certificate will be sent over stating what type of tree and where they were planted. For every three trees that are planted, they will be consuming on average 63kg of Co2
One Tree will consume the equivalent Co2 of forty-five ink cartridges and four toners.

ReturnMK offer a free of charge service for recycling to all our customers if you are purchasing our products. To qualify for this, you need to have a minimum of 5 inkjet cartridges or 10 toner cartridges for the recycling service we offer. ReturnMK will supply free post bags that you can simply put your ink cartridges into once they have been used and any other ink cartridges that you require recycling and pop them in your local post box. They will be returned to us for free and we will ensure that they are handled in the most environmentally friendly way possible. If you have laser printer toner cartridges for recycling these will need to be packed into a box securely, the box then sealed and ready for collection. We will arrange for a courier to collect from you for free.
For businesses, Schools, Universities and all other organisations the same principle applies, however if your volumes are larger than boxes and you get a pallet or more at a time you will need a minimum of 70 items on a pallet to warrant a free collection.
Our service is fully regulated by the Environment Agency and we hold all the relevant permit`s which can be sent over on request via email. If you are a School, University, College or a Business you will need a waste transfer note which we supply free of charge upon collection. You will require this by Ofsted or ISO auditors when you have an inspection.
