Radio Workshop
Have you always had a passion for radio? Perhaps you see yourself as a Presenter, or maybe you’re more interested in being involved in the broadcasting side? Whatever your ambition is in radio, this Radio Production Workshop will start you on your journey.
During the workshop you will work with experienced radio presenters and programmers who have been in the industry for many years; and who will teach you all of the basics. You will learn all the bases, from radio programming, to broadcasting and presenting; and they’ll help you gain confidence over a live broadcast!
Our Radio Production Workshop is the perfect introduction to the awesome world of radio. In the first few sessions you will be introduced and get acquainted with all of the radio equipment in a professional studio. You will learn what it all does and how to use it correctly, building your competence and confidence in a radio studio. You will then be introduced to understanding how the world of radio works, such as producing adverts and voiceovers; very common for commercial radio stations.
During the workshop you will also be taught how to create and build your own radio show; with the potential to put on your own shows on a radio station.

This is the perfect workshop to open your gateways to college and for you to take the next steps in the radio broadcasting industry.
If you have your own laptop, headphones or music on USB, that’s great; bring them along! But if you don’t have anything, don’t worry – we will help you with this!
